T-Pain got a big ass chain.
This is an absolute MESS... I can't even describe how horrible this video is. I'm literally trying to write my opinion ... and I just don't know where to begin.
The most interesting part is DJ Khaled proving how manly he is by terrorizing defenseless old people.
Oh boy, where do I start?
A track titled "Karaoke" off T-Pain's upcoming album leaked, and the song is aimed at all the rappers who "stole" his auto-tune once it became the newest hip hop fad. Now before you say "didn't Roger Troutman successfully use this decades ago??"... T-Pain acknowledges that in the song. However, the recent resurgence of the technique in hip hop can pretty much be attributed to T-Pizzle.
If you thought T-Pain was annoying enough on his own, DJ Khaled is ALL OVER the track screaming his usual drivel. T-Pain goes on to say Lil Wayne and Kanye are ok to use auto-tune but everyone else should stop (I have a strong suspicion he's talking to 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg, but I have no proof).

Here's a list of completely random notes taken while simultaneously watching the show:
1. What A LETDOWN! Ludacris brings out Rakim for his mini performance and I got so excited. But all Rakim says is "Emcees can move the crowd" and promptly leaves. Disappointing.
2. Despite the disappointment with Rakim, it's nice seeing T.I. and Ludacris squashing the old beef and performing together, I can't front.
3. T-Pain did a decent job with the opening monologue despite his lack of preparation time.
4. They should have let Nas perform one of the better songs on the "Nigger" album, it could have been a powerful performance.
5. Why did Keri Hilson not perform with Nas (she was featured on the track), but 10 minutes later she came out to present an award?
6. I love how Salt from Salt & Pepa cleaned up every dirty or suggestive lyric in her songs....she ain't playin.
7. Cory Gunz is a monster. Jesus Christ.
8. I wish they showed more audience reaction shots during NERD's performance, that could have ben entertaining in itself.
9. Watching T-Pain and Lil Wayne try to sing was undoubtedly the worst part of the night. Horrible.
10. I'm really glad they injected a healthy dose of footage detailing the positive impacts some artists have in the community, as well as the Obama love.
The 3rd Annual BET Hip Hop Awards air tonight, but due to a number of factors.. the show has dug itself such a hole that any positives we see tonight will not outweigh the negatives. First of all, I know rappers can be profane but is it really necessary to tape delay the ceremony an entire FOUR days? The show happened on Sunday and by now we already know every winner in each category. Where's the suspense? Absolutely anything you want to know about tonight's show is available via a google search.
Then of course there's the fact that the host of the show, Katt Williams, got into an argument with the producers and abandoned the entire thing 24hrs before showtime. The producers were forced to phone T-Pain at 1am and give him a crash course on emceeing the event.
"Katt was disrespectful, difficult and demanding throughout the process and his unprovoked verbal lashing on the producer was unwarranted," a source close to the production told me.
It all began after Williams arrived at rehearsals for the BET Hip-Hop Awards three hours late. A producer greeted him when his RV, which he was driving himself, pulled up and wanted to escort him into the rehearsal.
"He hopped out of his RV and went into a 'do you know who I am' rant. He was angry and wanted to know who called the union on him, because there had been an issue with Katt's camp trying to over-schedule the backup dancers," my source explained.
Apparently the Ohio-bred star of 'First Sunday' then went into rehearsal and acted as though nothing was wrong, but moments later abruptly stopped rehearsal and declared: Someone owes me an apolKatt Williamsogy. I'm sorry, I can't go on without an apology."
I almost don't want to watch it, but the hip hop fan in me is hoping for the best.
